Dialogue: The Alternative Energy Project at The Environmental Resources Training Center (ERTC)

In the spring of 2011, The Environmental Resources Training Center installed an alternative energy system consisting of 140 solar panels and a 120 foot tall wind turbine at its facility on New Poag Road. The solar panels have the ability to produce 32kw of electricity and the wind turbine can generate up to 20kw of electricity. The Director of the Training Center, Paul Shetley, will provide a summary of the project and the application of electricity generated by solar and wind energy.
